This week I have been attempting to make homemade bread. My mom has been making potato flake bread for years, and I have always loved it! She gave me some of the starter this week to try on my own. My first attempt went pretty well. It tasted like bread, always a good thing. It didn't rise very well though. My second attempt turned out much better! I made cinnamon rolls and just one loaf. There is nothing better than hot, homemade cinnamon rolls on a Saturday morning even when it is 90 degrees at 8:00 in the morning! I think I could live on cinnamon rolls and be just fine! I am proud of myself for making the bread twice. Now I just have to keep it going. Of course, if I keep making cinnamon rolls every time, then we are going to gain 50 pounds.

Falls Park and Saturday
We went to Greenville on Friday to visit the new Apple store at the mall. Tim really wants an iPhone or an iPad, so we played with those some. There are some really neat apps, but we are not sure if the it would really be worth the money right now. Then we went to eat at Carrabba's. The Chicken Bryan was wonderful as usual. We have tried to make this at home, but it just doesn't taste the same. Then we decided to walk down at Falls Park and enjoy some Spill the Beans ice cream (We were rewarding ourselves for a great workout at the Y!).
Mary's Cottage=yummy breakfast
On Saturday, we working on cleaning out the garage. It is in need of some major organization! We are also going to a wedding tonight. It should be beautiful!

Saturday Market and Anniversary
Saturday Market
During the summer, we love going to the Saturday Market in downtown Greenville. Of course, there are tons of fresh fruits and vegetables. There are also some beautiful flowers. There is also a booth that sells great salsas. The strawberry we got a couple of months ago was really good. We also like to get fresh pasta and pizza dough. I think that is the main reason we go.
Anniversary
Our first anniversary was yesterday. We didn't do anything yesterday, but we are planning to head to Charleston at the end of July. We did enjoy some of our wedding cake though! Tim and I had forgotten what flavor it was and really what it even looked like! It tasted exactly like it did a year ago! I couldn't believe how good it was!
Here is a picture of the flowers that were at church on Sunday.

Greenville Drive Baseball Game
The Ivey children are spending the weekend at my parent's house, so we decided to take them to a baseball game. It hasn't rained in three weeks, and of course a storm blew in right as the game was getting ready to start. We had just gotten settled on the hill when they rolled out the tarp. After a two hour rain delay, the game finally got started. We made it to the fifth inning before the kids got tired of it. It actually worked out though, because we can exchange our tickets for another game!

Summer Fun
We have had a busy summer so far! Brent and Whitney got married on June 18. Their wedding was beautiful, and we had a great time spending time with family!
We have also been trying to get some things done around the house. We have been organizing the garage and the house. It is amazing how things just get put in random places during the school year! We are also refinishing a piece of furniture. We have been working in the yard a lot. It just seems to be a never ending battle!
