Tonight we are at Preschool Movie Night. We ate pizza and watched 101 Dalmations.

Clemson Game

Clemson v. App State

After another busy week, we were back in Clemson today. Brooks has been cheering and yelling , "Go Tigers!" all week! Will came to the tailgate today, and the boys had a great time playing in the rocks.  Thatcher also came for a little while.  We made to the 4th quarter today- it was a record with the boys.  The weather was perfect- cloudy and low 80's.  I was actually chilly with the wind. It was a great Clemson win!  Brooks loves hanging out with our "fall family." They all love him and play with him. Jackson sat with Noni and GiGi and Will.  He enjoyed his hot dog and people watching!

We had soccer two nights, and Wednesday night church started up again.  Tim and Jackson played golf on Friday night.  We also had some drama with a neighbor's tree this week. A 20-25 ft limb fell on her house in the middle of the night. We ended up with 4 police cars, 2 fire trucks, and 1 ambulance on our street at 1am!  Thankfully she was fine and didn't end up with much damage. All of the rain and storms have a done a number on the water oaks on our street.  We are having an arbor guy come check ours out, and we are getting some estimates to take it down.

Brooksie and His Favorite Things to Say

" Tay, Mommy, Tay?" Has just changed to "Kay, Mommy, kay?"

Sky Top 2015

Today we made the trip to Sky Top Orchard in Flat Rock, NC. We ate breakfast at Tandem Creperie in TR. It was good but too expensive for us. We got to Sky Top around 9:30.we headed into the orchard first. Brooks preferred to throw the apples (ones already on the ground)rather than pick them. He loved sword fighting with sticks too. Jackson was a good helper. The only apples left were at the top so Tim had to climb the trees and throw them down.

We played in the play area. I was nervous about Brooks doing it with his arm. We rode the hay ride next. Then we got in line for Apple cider donuts-yum! Both boys loved them. In fact we had to buy another dozen! We went to see the animals and then went through the bamboo forest. Both boys loved that! They both slept on the way home.

We ended summer playing in the backyard with bubble guns.we had a great day!

End of Summer Water Balloon Fight

We bought these water balloons to take the beach and never ended up doing them and then couldn't do them with Brooks. It was the perfect way to end the summer!

Clemson v. Wofford

Today was the first home game. We left at 8 to get donuts and ice. We were ready to tailgate by 9:30. We took Brooks to the Tiger Cub Birthday Party. Jackson did not want to go. He was having too much fun playing cars in the back of the van. Brooks enjoyed his cupcake and getting his picture taken with the Tiger Cub. We got to watch the Tiger Walk on the way back. Brooks loved playing in the dirt. He was filthy!

Jackson sat with Noni during the game. He made it about 5 minutes before he wanted his hot dog. Then they stayed under the stands and did some people watching. Brooks sat with us, and was really good. He loved watching the game and looking form the tiger on the field. " There he is!" He also did the Clemson cheer each time. I was surprised we made it through the first half. We also watched the band, but then he was ready. "I done, Mommy, I done." We left to get Jackson and found him and Parker playing in the misting station. They had so much fun and did not want to leave. Brooks fell asleep as soon as he got in the stroller! It was a great first game!
