Berkley's Graduation Party

I can't believe Berkley graduated from high school. It seems like just yesterday she had all of those curls! We had a lot of fun at her graduation party! Luvie bought the boys cute tiger chairs. All of the little ones had fun running around playing with each other. Jackson and Brynlee ran around yelling " Come out, come out wherever you are!" They were yelling at the lightning bugs. It reminded me of being at Nannie's when all of us were little catching at lightning bugs.

I am so glad that my boys get to spend time with family especially all of their cousins. Some of my favorite childhood memories are from family events and trips.

School's Out!

We wrapped up school for the year, and I am definitely glad for a break.  Overall, I had a great class this year, and I will miss them. I had some students who really had a difficult year outside of school. I feel really badly because there isn't anything I can do to help.

I am ready for less stress! I am excited about spending the summer with the boys!

Swimming lessons

We started swimming lessons this week. Both boys are loving it. They are in the same parent and child class. Jackson is the oldest, but I didn't feel he was ready for the preschool class. I am proud of how Jackson is doing. He is not scared and has been jumping in. Brooks is a total water baby and loves everything about the water. He has started jumping in too!

Jackson's Birthday

Jackson had a great birthday. He made cupcakes with Noni. It was TuTu Wednesday! He wanted Skins Hotdogs for dinner. Noni and Papa Jerry came over along with Brent, Whitney, and Parker. The boys played outside. Jackson opened some of his presents. He was excited!

Wow! I can't believe my first baby is turning three! 3 just seems so old! Jackson has grown so much this year. I am so proud of him.

• Wears 2T and 3T
• Size 5 diapers (We are hoping to be out of these soon, but someone is extremely stubborn!)
• Size 8 1/2 wide shoe
• Still has "Blank"
• Finished his first year of preschool at Central
• Still a picky eater, but loves yogurt smoothies, applesauce, pizza, M&Ms, chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, hot dogs, donuts, milkshakes, pancakes. Notice the absence of fruits and vegetables!
• Has not wanted to take a nap the last few days
• Bedtime can take awhile. When I put him to bed, we say our prayers and sing songs
• Loves to watch Tayo the Little Bus, Cars, Toy Story, Mater's Tall Tales, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Sheriff Callie, Doc McStuffins, Sesame Street.
• Loves his cars and knows all of the names! He wants to play with them on the couch and gets upset when they are moved
• Loves tractors, bulldozers, and anything with wheels.
• Still loves to read- Goodnight Goodnight Construction Site, Truck Stop, Mickey books
• Loves to be on the go- zoo, museum, Chick-fil-A, park, Moe's
• Loves to run and yell"You'll never catch me!"
• Loves to go on walks to the park and play in the water table
• Is very stubborn and still throws a good fit and has meltdowns
• Likes to say- " I sure can!, Aye Aye Captain! Please please please!, Yeh-a
• Is a hoarder! He always wants to put all kind of stuff in a bag and take it wherever we go! ( like   Noni)

One More Week

We are down to one more week of school. We enjoyed a fun Saturday. We started out at the Downtown Market. We took Brooks' tricycle, and Jackson rode on the back. Both boys loved it! It was a perfect, cloudy cool morning. We headed to the zoo next to say good-bye to Joy the elephant who is being moved.

We went to our usual Costco. Then we went to Hollipops. They were having a birthday party. I picked out two things for Jackson's birthday and had them wrapped. He was so excited that he held them most of the way home. This is the first year that he really understands he is having a birthday and getting presents!

Brooks -12 month Check-up

Brooks had his 12 month check-up on Thursday. He is healthy and was a trooper with his 4 shots. He didn't cry with Dr. Hart and showed off his walking skills!

Weight - 23 pounds, 9 ounces ( 78%)
Height- 2ft 5.5 inches (24%)
Head- 48 cm (91%)

Jackson weighed more and was taller, but Brooks has a bigger head!
