Palm Sunday

Today we all got to go to church as a family. I enjoy my second job, but I enjoyed getting to all be together more.

Jackson had to be there at 9:00 to rehearse. I was so proud of him. He went right in and sat in the pew. He held my hand for a few seconds, but he didn't cry or get upset. I told him I was leaving to get Daddy and Brooksie. He said okay and turned back around. I was nervous leaving him because I usually stay at church, but I went back home this time.

I made Tim get to church early, because Jackson was going to Sunday School after rehearsal, and that is something new to him. He was so excited to walk down the aisle waving his palm branch. All of the children's choirs sang one song, and then he came back to sit with us. He was really good. The older children's choirs sang the same song at the end, and he said, "Hey! That's my song!"

Of course afterwards, we had to take pictures at his favorite bench! Poor Brooks was ready to leave the nursery. He started crying when all of his other friends were leaving.

Jackson's Easter Party at School

Noni and I helped with Jackson's party at school.  I could only stay a little while since my kids were doing Art Beat.  We had a fun egg hunt and had a great Easter snack- ham, macaroni and cheese, rolls, apples, and cookies.

My students made these today!I can't take credit for any of it!

St. Patrick's Day

Jackson was very excited about St. Patrick's Day. The leprechaun came to visit his class and made a mess. He loved it!  He kept forgetting the word leprechaun though. He would ask, " What's that little man's name that messed up my room?"

He has asked every day since where the leprechaun is.

Both boys have been sick. Brooks ended up with a double ear infection.

Daylight Savings Time

i love Daylight Savings because I love that the sun it out past 8:00! We had a rough adjustment though. Brooks had a really rough time! He was so grouchy and mean!

Parker's Birthday

Even though they were sick, both boys had a great time at Parker's Birthday Party!  It is hard to believe that he is 2! We celebrated for 2 days- one was cold and one was warm!

What's Up with Jackson

I can't believe Jackson is almost 4. That just sounds so old to me! He has matured so much since January. We are fully potty- trained. He loves school! He was sick earlier this week and couldn't go to school. He was so upset! He was also upset about missing choir. I usually have to peel him off of me to get him to go to choir. He went back to school on Thursday and had a great time. They were learning about pirates this week. They made treasure maps, went on a treasure hunt, got an eye patch, and found treasure! He has been taking Brooks and me on treasure hunts around the house.

He still has some major meltdowns. He never wants to leave Noni's house especially now that Kelin's is there.

He has become more independent and has started doing some chores. He has to pick up his tos and put his dirty clothes in the basket.

He still loves Cars and Planes Fire and Rescue. We still watch Tayo and both boys sing along to the theme music. He is still more reserved than Brooks. He will finally down some slides at the Airplane or Airaplane Park

Tim's Birthday

We celebrated Tim's birthday with dinner at Moe's. We also had cake at my parents' house. Tim gave up sweets for Lent, but we still needed a cake. Every time we go to Costco, Jackson wants to get this rainbow cake. We ended up with one for Tim's Birthday. Of course, Jackson wanted one that said " Best Wishes" instead of " Happy Birthday."

The boys got him a new shirt, and I got him tickets to see Dave Matthews this summer.

Papa Jerry's Birthday

We went to the Clemson Carolina baseball game in Greenville as part of Papa Jerry's birthday. The sun was out, but it was cold and windy. The boys enjoyed the trolley ride. We actually spent most of the game on the playground. We did walk around some and get a funnel cake. We left about the 7th inning because we were frozen.

We ate dinner at Frodo's. Cookie and Will met us there. We celebrated again today on his real birthday. We enjoyed Guy's Pizza and a Holly cake. The boys had lots of fun!
