Thanksgiving Crafts

Jackson had a Thanksgiving Feast at school. I wonder if he actually wore this?

Christmas Tree

We got our Christmas tree today. Jackson was not excited at first, but he liked running through all of the trees. Thankfully, my dad drove the tree to our house in the truck and helped us get it into the house.

We decorated after lunch and naps. Brooks loved looking at the lights and wanted to touch them. Jackson liked looking at the ornaments and tried hanging them on the tree. He would say, "Oh my goodness" when we pulled out new ornaments. When we were almost finished, Jackson said, "it's so beautiful!" The boys did really good. There was only one broken ornament, and I broke that!

We had a great day decorating our house.

Black Friday

We started our shopping off around 9 with both boys. I love online shopping, and the fact that I don't have to stay up late or stand in long lines! We went to Haywood Mall where it was very crowded. We had lunch at Frodo's.  We went to Costco where someone had a meltdown over M&Ms. Then we braved Toys-R-Us for B1G1 baby food. Again, someone was wild. He eventually found a Thomas chair and carried it around until I told him we would put the chair in the cart if he would ride too. He agreed, but we had different ideas. He wanted to sit in the chair in the cart. It was priceless!

We were planning to go to Hollipops too, but there was a spitting incident in the car, and we couldn't go. Brooks loves to blow raspberries right now, and we laugh at him. Jackson has started spitting now too. Of course we try not to laugh at him. He begged Noni the whole way home, "Noni, my spend the night?"  We probably should not have let him, but I had 2 papers to write. Brooks got all of the attention, and he loved every minute of it! He was wild jumping in his jumperoo for at least 30 minutes. He was rolling and trying to pull up. Brooks seems to be growing up faster than Jackson. We paid thousands of dollars to get Jackson to be mobile, and Brooks is doing it on his own!

After 4 hours, I finished both papers. I am very thankful that My parents love having Jackson spend the night.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We enjoyed a morning in our pajamas and watching the parade. Jackson was not that impressed with the parade. He liked the balloons and seeing Santa at the end. He really wanted to watch Doc McStuffins though.

We had dinner in Greenville, and it was fun seeing all the little boys together. We tried to get pictures...

Jackson and Will had a lot of fun playing. They are going to be trouble. Jackson wanted him to come spend the night with Noni. When we left, he said, "My go back." Jackson did get wild right before we left. He wanted Papa J to chase him. He said, "My run real fast. You can't catch me!"

We are very blessed to have such wonderful boys and supportive families! We have a lot to be thankful for.

Noni's Birthday

We celebrated Noni's birthday Tuesday night with pizza from Guy's and sweet potato cake from Brick Street. For her birthday, we are having family pictures taken in a few weeks. We had a great evening, and Brooks enjoyed his first bite of cake.

Jackson got his hair cut Wednesday and then spent the day with Noni on her real birthday. I had big plans to get the house organized, but Brooks had other plans and just wanted to be held. I would much rather snuggle with him than clean anyway! Later that night we had fun playing with the train.

Clemson v. Citadel

Today was the last Clemson home game of the season. It was a Purple Out and Military Appreciation Day. It was overcast but mild with temps near 60. We started out looking at the military vehicles.

We enjoyed tailgating with family and friends. We took both boys into the game. Of course, Jackson was ready to go as soon as we sat down. It was really crowded which was nice to see for the seniors.  We stayed through halftime and enjoyed the program. My dad actually went on the field for Military Appreciation. Maybe Jackson will go with him next time.

We went back to the tailgate and watched/ listened to the end of the game. We hung around until almost 5. It was starting to get chilly. We had a great time tailgating this year! Go Tigers!

My Crazy Boys

Jackson and Brooks are both full of personality!

Brooks loves to laugh and jump in his jumperoo. He has 2 teeth now! He likes to pull hair and started eating squash last week. He wasn't crazy about it at first, but likes it now. He loves to play Patty Cake. He thinks Jackson is hilarious, but at the same time is terrified of him! Brooks still loves to be held, so I am soaking up every minute!

Jackson really likes school now and has not cried getting out of the car lately.  He thinks that there are racoons on our roof (He might be right.).  His new thing is to look for "rac ooons." He loves to talk to Brooks. These are the things he has been saying lately:" What a cute baby! Wake up baby! Where's the baby? Hey sweetheart! Ride a little pony! Rocky, rocky!" He cheers when Brooks eats at the table with us. He loves his piggy bank and stickers. We play hide-and-seek a lot! Brooks and I always have to hide!  Jackson is obsessed with his cars pajamas; he has to wear them every night! He still eats chicken nuggets, pizza, pancakes and applesauce (" Alsauce"). He really likes art stuff like painting, coloring, writing on his easel and clay. He makes the couch his garage and will not let anyone else sit there!

Super Saturday

We had a really busy but fun today. We started out with breakfast at Eggs Up Grill. Brooks enjoyed sitting in the high chair, and Jackson ate most of his breakfast.

We went to the Children's Museum for a few hours. Jackson loves running around, and Brooks got to play too. They both had fun at the Clifford exhibit and at the farm. Jackson still loves the water table. Brooks liked it too. Jackson pitched a fit when it was time to leave!

Then we went on a shopping marathon- Buy Buy Baby, Toys-r-U, Costco, Hollipops ( Lollipops as Jackson calls it.), Your Pie, and The Fresh Market.  The boys were pretty good. Jackson does best in a stroller. If not, he is running everywhere! It is amazing how much energy he has!
