Easter Fun

We had a nice day full of exciting Easter and spring events. We had the egg hunt at church this morning. We started out with some Easter crafts. Brooks just wanted to run around with the basketballs.

Then it was time for the egg hunt. I went with Brooks, and Tim went with Jackson. Brooks was a little confused but finally got the hang of it it. The Easter Bunny came to visit next. Jackson hopped up there and smiled. Brooks just scowled!

We enjoyed a picnic lunch where Brooks ate a cookie, and Jackson ate the "crunchies" off the chicken. The boys did enjoy eating outside, and it was a beautiful day! The boys loved running and playing with the Watson kids!

We had an issue with our washing machine. Both it and the dryer have been struggling, but this morning the washer stretched Brooks' pajama top so much that I could wear it as a skirt. Yep the neck is now that big. You have to run the dryer 2 or 3 times to dry anything, so Tim went and bought a new washer and dryer. Instead of going anywhere this summer, we have a washer and dryer instead. The iron started burning clothes today too, so we spent the afternoon at Noni's washing and ironing.

We did take Jackson to the Spring Jubilee in Pendleton while Brooks napped. He got ice cream and cotton candy, so he was happy.

We ended the evening dying eggs. Brooks loved to throw the eggs into the dye! It was funny. He would also throw them back in after they were dyed which led to lots of cracked eggs. Jackson liked doing it. He would drop them in and and want to get them right out. It was fun!
