First Day of Fall Break

Fall Break is wonderful!  It could not have come at a better time! I was hoping to sleep in today, but Jackson had other plans. He was up around 6:45. We did hang out in our pajamas for awhile. Then we picked up my mom and headed to Greenville. The Fresh Market was having holiday samples, so went there. Jackson loves any place with food samples. Of course, we couldn't leave without cupcakes!

We went to the mall to eat at Chick-fil-a and see Tu Tu on her birthday. He just talked and talked in his stroller. He has a very funny new trick. When he is finished eating, he likes to take his napkin and "wipe" his bottom.  I guess that is what he thinks you do with a napkin.  Of course, we laugh, and he laughs.  I am sure he will love this story one day!

After that we went to the Greenville Zoo to see Kiko, the baby giraffe.  It was very crowded. The baby was born two weeks ago and has been a really big deal.  Jackson loves to go to the zoo.  He likes the elephants, monkeys, and giraffes.  The giraffe exhibit was really busy, but we did get some pictures of Kiko.  He is so cute! We went to the gift shop and bought a giraffe stuffed animal.  I think every child there had a giraffe stuffed animal. Jackson noticed the baby, but he just loves to be outside.  He did a lot more walking, and for a little bit refused to hold Noni's hand.  I am not ready for that yet.

Thankfully the weather was warmer today than earlier in the week when it just got into the 40s.
