Spring Break

We have had a relaxing Spring Break even with the rain and the colder temperatures.  The boys got to swing Monday morning while we worked in the yard. Then the rain started, and we all enjoyed naps. It stopped long enough for us to get ice cream at Yogurt Mountain.

It poured most of Tuesday, and I spent the day cleaning out closets. The sun came out in the afternoon. We ate our usual Tuesday dinner at Moe's. Brooks waved to everyone who came in, and Jackson would say,"Welcome to Moe's." Then we went to our neighborhood Easter egg hunt. It was fun meeting some new neighbors. Jackson had fun looking for the eggs.

Since the Ivey children were at my parents' house, he spent the night with them. Brooks missed him! Jackson did not want to leave. He finally calmed down when we got to the Museum. Both boys love going there. Jackson's new favorite thing is to fill up the grocery cart. Brooks loves the water table. He loves to splash.

We had lunch at Your Pie. Both boys love the pizza and gelato. Then we went on an adventure looking for shoes. Jackson's Lightning McQueen shoes have gotten too small. He was not happy when the store did not have them. Both boys have really wide feet, so we can only buy shoes at Stride Rite. Other places don't carry wide. We finally found 2 pair for each boy. Hopefully these will last all summer! It makes me sad that Jackson is out of toddler shoes now (8 1/2 w). Brooks is in a 3 1/2 w. Brooks was so good getting his foot measured for the first time. We stopped by Cabelas so Jackson could show me the animals. Our last stop was Costco. Now that both boys like applesauce, we needed to stock up!

Brooks learned a new trick-he climbed up the stairs all by himself! We are in trouble!
