Ashley's Wedding.

We made the six hour trip to Kinston, NC for Ashley's Wedding. It was a long drive, but we had a great time! Thank goodness Noni and Papa Jerryrode with us.

The boys slept he first few hours. Jackson wore a pull-up, so I thought he would go in that. Nope, so we stopped a lot. Sometimes we stopped every 10 minutes. We stopped at more McDonalds than I have been to in the last year.

We finally got there close to 1. We checked in and went to lunch with family we don't get to see very often.  We went to this barbeque place, and it was really good. They had a model train there so the boys loved that. There was also a huge pig you could ride. Brooks loved it!

Getting ready for the wedding was an adventure., but we did it. The ceremony was beautiful, and Ashley looked gorgeous!

The reception was lots of fun. The boys loved running with Parker and Will on the greens. They all found golf balls. There was an awesome band playing lots of fun songs. Those boys danced and danced. Brooks tried to go on stage with the band. He loved the music! He is going to be the one I worry about in the future! Even Jackson danced! He was so fun tapping his right foot forwards and backwards.  We probably danced an hour! Brooks would lay on the floor and Tim would spin him. He danced with one who stopped to dance with. him. Brooks loves some Michael Jackson.  Jackson loved the sunglasses they passed out.

Both boys fell asleep on the way back to the hotel, but they were wide awake when we got there around 11. My mom, Jackson, and I went to Will's room for a little while to visit with everyone. Jackson loved running through the halls of "his hotel."

The boys enjoyed breakfast and playing in the lobby. We got a late start and didn't leave until 12. We got a call shortly that Tu Tu and Kristi had been in a wreck. They were both fine, but TuTu's car was not. We watched them cuff the other driver and both cars go on tow trucks. We went back to David and Christi's.  Luckily David is a lawyer and can help TuTu.

We squeezed TuTu and Luvie in the van and headed home. It was close to 9 when we got home. I am glad they are okay and we had room in our car for them. It was definitely an interesting Griswald trip!
