Mickey's Not-So-Scary- Halloween Party

We had special tickets for this party. We drove to the Magic Kingdom, rode the tram, and the Monorail. The boys were excited to ride the Monorail.  We got the park and went right in.  It is so magical to walk in and see the castle.  We took some pictures and headed to Fantasy Land. This was a perfect time because the ride lines were so short. We rode the Tea Cups, Dumbo, and the Cars.  Both boys loved Dumbo.  We ended up riding that multiple times. Brooks especially loved it. We walked around and enjoyed all of the costumes.  Jackson also wanted to change into his costume. We rode the Toy Story ride there in Tomorrow Land. We also rode the Little Mermaid ride. Brooks hated that one. He kept saying, "I'm done."

We braved the Haunted Mansion.  Brooks kept his head buried his head in my chest and didn't look at a thing. We also got to go Trick-or-Treating. We all got tons of good candy!  We rode Pirates of the Caribbean and the Magic Carpets. The Magic Carpets were fun because the camel spit water on you. Tim, Grandpa, Grandma, and I rode Splash Mountain too. We sat up front and got soaked.

We waited for the parade and ate hot dogs and fries for dinner. The parade was great! The dancers from the Haunted Mansion looked so real! There were also some grave diggers whose shovels made sparks when they hit the street.

We watched the fireworks and headed back to the hotel.  Two little boys fell fast asleep.  The party was not that crowded, and it was great that the lines were so short.  We got to ride almost everything we wanted!  It is so magical to go with little ones.
