Jackson's First T-Ball Game

Jackson had his first t-ball game last night. He has been so excited that he has been wearing his hat nonstop! When I got home from school, he was ready to put on his uniform. He wanted Noni to help him and then surprise me. Then we did a photoshoot so he could " practice his smile!" Brooksie Bear could not be left out!

We got to the field right on time. He walked right on the field to practice without a whimper! Brooks was excited to play with his friend Grady. 

Jackson was the first to hit. He did really well and made it to first. He had a little trouble finding second, but he eventually made it home. He played 3rd and then backed up shortstop. He didn't have a ball that came directly to him, but he did run after some. He was excited to get his snack at the end! It was in the 80s and really hot, so he was exhausted. We celebrated with Chick-fil-A,  showers, and bed. 

I am really proud of him. It is amazing. How much he has grown since soccer season six months ago!   Of course,he did tell me that was his only game. Now he only has practice!
